The traditional ceremonial carriage seen on Diplomaticos humidors and signs may give the impression that this is an old and well-established Cuban cigar brand. However, things are not always what they seem, in fact, the Diplomat has only been around since 1966. Today, Havana is one of the smallest brands – with just one regular production cigar, much like La Gloria Cubana – and less than 60 years old, making it a relative newcomer to the market; in fact, Diplomaticos is the first post-revolution A new brand launched to the public. However, this novelty did not equate to a lack of expertise, and enthusiasts around the world quickly took to the Diplomat's style.
