Vegueros cigars were launched on the market in 1996. The brand\'s creative intention is twofold: to release a series of high-quality, fully handcrafted Cuban cigars at a more affordable price than ever before from Cuba, and to pay tribute to farmers whose tireless efforts in the tobacco field have enabled all of us to fully enjoy the pleasure of smoking. Although most of the tobacco grown in these fields was handed over to the state for use in a wider range of industries, some was allowed to remain on the farms - and then rolled into cigars for the farmers\' own consumption. This name was adopted to express recognition of their labor, and a new brand was born.
